Respawn Entertainment working on new VR game with Oculus

At the Oculus Connect event, Respawn Entertainment revealed they are working on a new VR release with Oculus. This was also one of the many new titles revealed in an update from Oculus.

There’s little information about the game but there is a trailer talking about war. “We really want to depict being a soldier in combat in a more fully fleshed-out and realistic way,” says Vince Zampella in the teaser. It’s not based on Titanfall we know that much, it’s something new.

What we do know is that the game will not be appearing before 2019 so let’s hope it’s something quite substantial that really pushes VR gaming forward.
