Ubisoft has given rough dates for Splinter Cell: Conviction and Red Steel 2.Ubisoft’s official Red Steel 2 announcement states that the game is due out in the “2009 holiday season,” and is set in a “desert-bound, high-tech metropolis.” Other than the fact that the game will support and make extensive use of the Wii MotionPlus, we know little else about the title as this point.Ubisoft’s fourth-quarter sales data has revealed that Splinter Cell: Conviction, which we’ve heard little about recently, is also due for release at the end of 2009.The data also reveals that the fourth entry in the Ghost Recon series is due out before the 2010 fiscal year begins, which places it before April 2010.With all of these, and the announcement that Assassin’s Creed is also due in winter, it looks like Ubi is gearing up for a busy Christmas.
