In the lead-up to the release date of Carrier Command: Gaea Missions (supposedly sometime this autumn), you’ll be able to play a series of four ‘Recruits’ mini-games. These short games are connected by a single storyline and are based prior to the events that’ll be depicted in Gaea Mission. In them, you’ll “solve puzzles” and “unlock secrets” about the Carrier Command universe.

“This mini-game-series will help build excitement leading up to Carrier Command: Gaea Mission’s launch, and we can’t wait for fans to check it out,” says Bohemia Interactive PR man Korneel van ‘t Land; although do remember he’s essentially paid to be enthusiastic about this stuff.

If you complete an episode of ‘Recruits’ and share your progress on Facebook or Twitter (sigh) before 20 August, then you could win one of five copies of the full Carrier Command: Gaea Mission game for the PC.

The first episode ‘Head Hunting’ is available to play now, right here.

You can watch some footage from the beta of the full game, below.
