APB developer Realtime Worlds has confirmed that we’re unlikely to see the game on consoles in the near future.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Realtime Worlds boss Dave Jones revealed that the future of the game on consoles in uncertain.
“It has to be something that everybody wants to do, where everybody’s clear on what we can do and what we can’t do,” said Jones.
“There are a lot of issues like that where we said, let’s just make one, make it great, get all the issues out of the way. It’ll also need a fair bit of redesign as well I think.”
Jones also said that the fact that Microsoft and Sony are platform holders means there are server issues that would need to be ironed out to.
In last month’s EA investor report it was announced that the game has been delayed until Q2 this year.
