Razer announces the ‘Base Station Chroma’

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

If you’re anything like me, then your desktop is slowly becoming a Razer branded epicenter. DeathAdder mouse? Check. Ornata keyboard? Tangle of wires? Also check. Razer is offering to add a little color to your life with the Base Station Chroma, a three pronged USB hub/stand for your desktop. It brings a bit of organization, lights, and a solution for a cluttered desktop.

The full specs for the stand can be seen below:

  • Detachable headphone stand
  • 3-port USB 3.0 Hub
  • Razer Chroma enabled
  • Full programmable with Razer Synapse
  • Anti-slip feet

The biggest selling point for the stand isn’t necessarily the headphone portion to it. Building a PC also means taking into consideration the availability of USB 3.0 ports. Not every accessory is needs one, but having more than a few is somewhat of a relief.

The Razer Base Station Chroma is slated for launch in Q3 of 2017. It will retail for US$59.99. Sadly, there is still no update on the Razer Toaster.
