It’s quite a while until you’ll feel some Rage. Today at QuakeCon id revealed that the game will not be hitting the shop shelves until later next year, which is quite a bit later than some may have liked. In a commnent on the Bethesda blog they added:
“The id guys were just on stage demonstrating RAGE on three platforms at once. Near the end, they announced a somewhat important detail: RAGE is now headed for store shelves on September 13, 2011 in the US and September 16 in Europe.”
id were on stage showing the game to the masses and it appears much of what was shown earlier this year at E3 was demonstrated. Now we know that Rage is due later next year, perhaps gamers may not have to wait that long until Doom 4 which has been hinted at this week.
