Pyre Receives ‘True Nightwing’ Update

Supergiant Games, the developer of Pyre, decided to support Pyre with a brand new way to play the campaign ,w ith a completely free update titled the “True Nightwing.”

The new update will a unlock a new campaign mode right after you reach the end of the campaign (if you’ve already completed the campaign, it will unlock automatically).

The mode is said to be reminiscent of an ‘Ironman’ mode!

The following changes made with the mode are described like this:

· Base difficulty same as Heightened.
· All Titan Stars unlocked, and some must be used.
· Enlightenment required to rank up re-scaled.
· Cannot load checkpoints or restart Rites.
· Book of Rites and White Lute fully unlocked.
· Slugmarket inventory fully unlocked.
· Feats of Glory introduced much sooner.
· Note: Once chosen, this setting cannot be changed.

Many of the early tutorials are skippable.

According to Supergiant Games, is already live on PC, and will arrive soon to PS4.

Pyre is available on PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Linux for $19.99. This update will serve as a little “thank you” to everyone who supported the game since July.
