Playing house: Victoria II expansion announced

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

If you literally can’t get enough of runing future nations through colonisation and researching new types of steam travel, you’ll be pleased about the announcement of an expansion to Paradox’s Victoria II.
Dubbed ‘A House Divided’, the add-on will introduce a new starting point of 1861 in the game. This’ll allow you to play through the entire US Civil War and experience the era of “absolute monarchies” (something which was a treat for the people living under them, I’m sure).
Paradox is aiming to have this expansion released early in 2012, at a cost to you of $20 USD, 20 Euros or £15 GBP.
An early developer diary about Victoria II: A House Divided can be read at the link below. My own review of the base game can be read here.
