Given the success of both Limbo and Inside, it would be surprising if Playdead were doing anything but making another game. Remain un-surprised, then, as the studio’s official twitter account confirms another videogame project.
The time gap between Limbo and Inside was basically six years, so don’t necessarily expect whatever this game is to turn up on your hard drive any time soon. You might not even have a hard drive at that point, because in 2023 all data could be beamed directly to your cerebral cortex.
A lone piece of concept art accompanies the twitter confirmation of a new project. It depicts an astronaut of some kind dragging a parachute behind him and looking at a distant meteor. Or perhaps it’s another astronaut pod thudding into the surface. Who knows!
