Planetside 2 wants to turn your war stories into a graphic novel

With a game as big and open and varied as Planetside 2, most players will probably have stories of their own. Stories of when they held out a desperate resistance to a vastly superior force, to be saved at the last second by allies, or stories of when they single-handedly blunted an enemy advance, or stories of when their small squad managed to sneak around and capture an area by themselves.

If you’re in Europe, Sony and ProSiebenSat.1 Games want to hear your Planetside 2 stories, with the best three (one from each Empire) being turned into stories in an upcoming graphic novel. That’s a hell of a celebration for the game’s first anniversary.

You’ll apparently need a verified ProSiebenSat.1 account to take part, but if you’re interested, you can have a gander at the contest page over here. There are other prizes for the best stories, too, ranging from graphics cards to Mad Catz mice.

You’ve got until 17 December to submit your story, with the Planetside 2 community voting on them until 7 January 2014. The graphic novel itself will apparently be released on 13 May 2014.

Tim has been playing PC games for longer than he's willing to admit. He's written for a number of publications, but has been with PC Invasion - in all its various incarnations - for over a decade. When not writing about games, Tim can occasionally be found speedrunning terrible ones, making people angry in Dota 2, or playing something obscure and random. He's also weirdly proud of his status as (probably) the Isle of Man's only professional games journalist.
