Frontier is launching the free Planet Coaster Spring Update today for all budding theme park creators.

The update comes with seven new rides including go-karts where you can create and design your own tracks, the crime and security features to stamp out park criminals such as vandals and pickpockets, new flat rides such as The Zozo, Elixir Machine, and Big Wheel. There are also new  coasters.

Probably the most important new feature is the larger blueprints which will allow players to create and download larger sections of park in one go, double the size in fact. This will mean players will be able to fill out their parks quicker with user creations from the Workshop.

The bottom line is that this update takes customisation to a new level with more than 150 new objects to utilise when creating a park or blueprints to share with others.

Three new scenarios have also been added to test your management skills, Chief Beef’s Raceway, Oak Island, and Downtown.

A really solid update from Frontier and this will take the game to version 1.2.
