PES 2014 (that’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, acronym fans) will be getting another free data pack update later this month, according to creators Konami. No specific date has been set yet, but this third data update looks pretty decent.
All of the transfers made in January will be implemented, and there’ll be some new boots with hilarious names like “Hypervenom Phantom” to choose from. Seriously, Hypervenom Phantom. That sounds more like a Diablo 3 item. If Joey Barton wears them can he do +5 poison damage?
Uh, sorry, I got distracted thinking about that. Right. There are updated kits too! Plus a few classic ones, including: “the AC Milan side of 1899, the 1982/83 Roma side, Benfica’s all-conquering 1961/62 XI and Manchester United’s treble-winning 1998/99 strip.”
You want balls? PES 2014 can give you balls, my friend. Five new ones, including the ‘Final Lisbon’ one seen in the Champions League this year.
Data pack 3 will come with a concurrent PES 2014 patch that will “tweak AI and gameplay elements and add a new camera to the 11 vs 11 mode.”
