Persona 4 Arena bows out of PSN Europe, BUT still on Xbox Games on Demand

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

You may have heard that Persona 4 Arena was inexplicably removed from PSN for Europe, but we found out something that makes this news all the more curious. It seems the game is still up for Europeans, if you own an Xbox 360.

First, to get back a bit to PSN, here’s what Playstation Store Team member Jawad Ashraf had to say about the removal on their end:

Persona 4 Arena has been removed from PS Store on request from the publisher. I haven’t been given any information as to why, just that we obliged with the request. Sorry I can’t be more transparent.

As you can see here, the game is alive and well on Xbox Games on Demand for the UK site. Either Atlus has not yet gotten around requesting the removal of the game in that region, or there may be something specific to Sony that precipitated this removal. Barring word from Atlus, we can only speculate.
