Persona 3 Reload: How to beat Corrupt Tower (weakness and tactics)

Hit it where it hurts

One of the tougher enemies you’ll come by in Persona 3 Reload is the Corrupt Tower, and we’ll teach you tactics on how to beat it, alongside its weakness.

The number one thing you need to know to beat an enemy in Tartarus is its weakness. If you can get it to fall prone, you can unleash an All-Out-Attack for enormous damage.

Corrupt Tower weakness in Persona 3 Reload

You can find this towering enemy throughout the first half of the Arqa Block (floors 23-43), typically paired with a few other enemies. But how can you take it down? The only weakness that the Corrupt Tower has in Persona 3 Reload is Electricity damage, which is Zio.

Luckily, it only has one resistance, which is to Piercing damage. So don’t try and use Yukari’s bow on the Corrupt Tower. Instead, use Akihiko’s Zio skills to inflict the most damage and make it fall prone. Anyone else is free to use their skills for extra damage, just avoid Piercing skills.

Other ways to inflict damage on the Corrupt Tower in Persona 3 Reload

Sometimes, using other melee damage like Strike or Slash can inflict a Critical Hit, but it’s mostly random. So I’d rely on Akihiko or your main character if you have a Persona with a skill that deals Electricity damage. You may even have certain items that can inflict a set amount of Electricity damage, so don’t forget to check your items if you don’t have Akihiko in your party.

Although the Corrupt Tower may have a few friends with it, it’s typically the strongest enemy in the group. This means that you should get other party members to quickly get rid of the other enemies so you only have to deal with the Corrupt Tower for the rest of the fight.

Another enemy you may encounter in Tartarus is the Precious Hand, which is rare and will run away in a few turns if you’re not quick enough.
