PC Invasion Plays Star Trek Bridge Crew

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

For the past few days, I have been aboard a Federation starship, well virtually aboard. Star Trek Bridge Crew is Ubisoft’s latest VR title and it puts up to four players on the bridge of the starship Aegis and classic Enterprise.

Players have to work as a team with a captain, helmsman, tactical and engineering officer. It sounds like it would be pretty easy but trust me, it’s not. In this video, I hooked up with three random players to undertake one of the game’s missions. I took control of the helm which involves moving the ship around, punching in coordinates and making sure the ship stays on course.

In this game our captain knew what he was doing which was a huge help, he had also attempted the mission before so had a rough idea what to expect. I, on the other hand, was simply following orders as all good crew members should.

This video shows a complete mission from start to finish and it shows a good variety of gameplay from the helmsman’s point of view. I have to say, Star Trek Bridge Crew is pretty damn good and you can read our review now.
