Frontier’s theme park roller coaster sim Planet Coaster will be releasing tomorrow and this is how it looks.
In this video, I take a look at Frontier’s return to the world of roller coaster sim games. After a few days of play time, I managed to create a half decent coaster called the PC Invasion Ride of Terror which is now also on the Steam Workshop. That’s right you can create stuff and share it which is just one of the cool features in Planet Coaster. There are already over 9000 different items in the Steam Workshop so there’s plenty to choose from.
It took a little while to tweak the game’s settings and controls but thankfully there’s a stack of options so you can pretty much config the mouse and keys to suit. In my case, my middle mouse button would simply not work but that was easily switched out to a hotkey for camera tilting.
Following a couple of patches this week, the game has been performing a lot better and it’s looking quite solid for tomorrow’s launch.
If you want to find out more about coaster building and the game options give this video a watch.
