The PC games listed on this page have been announced as releasing in January 2020.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne (Capcom): January 9
The first expansion to the massive RPG adventure game takes you to deadly, frozen lands.
Darwin Project (Scavengers Studio): January 14
Currently a free-to-play early access title, Darwin Project will have up to 10 inmates facing off in a battle royale. The game is expected to release in January 2020.
Lightmatter (Tunnel Vision Games): January 15
Originally a college project that has since become a game in development, Lightmatter is a puzzler game where you control various sources of light to keep the fatal shadows at bay.
Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls (Acquire) – January 15
Originally released for the PS3 back in 2011, this dungeon-crawler makes its way to PCs for the first time this month.
Total War: Three Kingdoms – Mandate of Heaven (Creative Assembly): January 16
The next expansion for Total War: Three Kingdoms lets you relive the struggles between the Han Dynasty and the Yellow Turbans. Since you’ll have an earlier start date compared to the base game’s grand campaign, you can expect new lords and familiar ones who’ve yet to see their true potential.
A Long Way Down (Seenapsis Studio): January 16
A deck-building and dungeon-delving game, A Long Way Down leaves Steam’s early access program for a full release this January 2020.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (Bandai Namco): January 17
The RPG retelling of the Z saga.
The Alliance Alive HD Remaster (FuRyu Corporation): January 17
Originally released for the Nintendo Switch in Japan back in 2017 and worldwide in 2018, a remastered version of this RPG makes its way to PCs this year. Please note that The Alliance Alive HD Remaster was originally scheduled to release last October, but it’ll be releasing in January 2020 instead.
Neverwinter: Infernal Descent (Cryptic Studios): January 21
The free-to-play MMORPG will have a major module that presents its first-ever campaign for level 80 players.
Temtem (Humble Bundle): January 21 – Early Access
Think of it as akin to Pokemon where you’re collecting various creatures. The difference here is that Temtem is an MMO.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (Skydance Entertainment): January 23
Make your way to the New Orleans of The Walking Dead‘s universe. Overrun by the undead and facing certain doom, you’ll have to face difficult choices in this VR title.
Praetorians – HD Remaster (Torus Games/Pyro Studios): January 24
Praetorians is a real-time strategy game featuring armies and the political machinations of an emerging Roman Empire.
Commandos 2 – HD Remaster (Yippee! Entertainment/Pyro Studios): January 24
A real-time strategy game set during World War II, now remastered in HD.
Warcraft III: Reforged (Blizzard): January 28
Return to Azeroth in this remake of Blizzard’s classic RTS Warcraft III and The Frozen Throne expansion. Need we say more?
Journey To The Savage Planet (Typhoon Studios): January 28
A survival-type game in a hostile, alien environment.
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters (Devespresso Games): January 28
Made by Devespresso Games, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters places you in the role of a Korean high school student investigating otherworldly phenomena while on the run from a killer.
Might & Magic: Chess Royale (Ubisoft): January 30
It’s Might & Magic combined with auto chess gameplay.
Elderborn (Hyperstrange): January 30
A first-person action game which aims to provide the thrills (owing to metal music) and challenges (Souls-like melee combat). It’s currently part of Steam’s early access program but it’ll officially launch in January 2020.
Exit the Gungeon (Dodge Roll Games): Early 2020
The sequel to the massive indie hit is expected to have a wider release in early 2020 for PCs, though it’s already available via Apple Arcade.

Get started in building your sustainable and eco-friendly city.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake (MegaPixel Studio): Winter 2019
A remastered take on the original which released in 1995. The original Panzer Dragoon was considered as one of the crown jewels of the Sega Saturn. The remake is expected to release during the winter season.
