FIFA 22 (EA): October 1
Another year of football from the franchise.
F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch (TIGames): October 3
A Metroidvania game set in a dieselpunk world where you get to control a cybernetically-enhanced rabbit.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (Ludosity/Fair Play Labs): October 5
Pick your favorite characters from Nickelodeon cartoons and engage in Smash Bros-style bouts.
Wasteland 3: Cult of Detonation (inXile Entertainment): October 5
The second and final story expansion for Wasteland 3 takes you to the Cheyenne Mountains.
Alan Wake Remastered (Remedy): October 5
Help a troubled author search for his wife in this suspenseful thriller. Alan Wake Remastered will have both The Signal and The Writer expansions, as well as support for 4K resolution.
Far Cry 6 (Ubisoft): October 7
Take control of a guerrilla fighter as you bring down a dictator (played by Giancarlo Esposito).
Back 4 Blood (Turtle Rock Studios): October 12
Gather your friends and mow down the zombie horde. The makers are none other than Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of the original Left 4 Dead.
The Riftbreaker (EXOR Studios): October 14
Pilot your mecha suit as you build your base and survive an onslaught.
Dungeon Encounters (Square Enix): October 14
Delve deep into slightly simplified dungeons to battle monsters and find rewards.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy (Crytek): October 15
Crysis Remastered came out last year. Now, the next two games have also been remastered to round out the trilogy.
Inscryption (Daniel Mullins Games/Devolver Digital): October 19
It’s a combination of deck-building mechanics, rogue-lite challenges, and a bit of psychological horror.
Disciples: Liberation (Frima Studio): October 21
The next entry in the Disciples RPG series.
Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend (Square Enix): October 21
Originally released as the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy in North America, these Game Boy titles that kickstarted the SaGa series are now arriving for PCs in October 2021.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes (Supermassive Games): October 22
The third entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology has been revealed via a premonition in Little Hope. It releases in October 2021. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Eidos): October 26
Play as the most dysfunctional squad in the galaxy in this action game.
Darkest Dungeon 2 (Red Hook Studios): October 26 (Early Access)
The follow-up to the hit rogue-lite title featuring grim locales and damned characters arrives as an Early Access title in October 2021.
Age of Empires IV (Relic Entertainment): October 28
Details are somewhat scarce at the moment, but one thing that is known is the developer, Relic (of Homeworld, Company of Heroes fame), is helming the project.
