PC Digital Sales Charts: Week Ending 30 January

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

This week’s digital download charts have proven how massive Mass Effect 2 is. Despite pre-orders of Battlefield: Bad Company 2‘s Limited Edition taking the Steam top spot, the utterly sublime Mass Effect 2 has claimed the second and fourth spots with its regular and Digital Deluxe editions respectively, and the original game has been propelled back into the charts by people presumably wanting to finish it before playing the sequel. It’s the same story on Direct2Drive, with Mass Effect 2’s Digital Deluxe Edition taking the top spot while the regular version sits in third. It’s worth noting that Steam had a Psychonauts sale on last week, dropping the excellent platformer to a mere £1 GBP, and despite Steam sales being counted by revenue the game still managed to creep into eighth place.
