PC Digital Sales Charts: Week Ending 3 January

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

The charts for most digital download services have been dominated by each service’s holiday sales.Steam’s charts for the past week are filled with some of the bigger offers the service made, with Left 4 Dead 2 – discounted twice during the period – topping them. Despite these sales, though, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remains ludicrously popular, Javelin-glitching its way into second.Direct2Drive’s charts, on the other hand, are ruled by Star Trek Online. Pre-orders for the Digital Deluxe Edition of the forthcoming MMO have helped that rise to first place, with the regular version coming in at ninth. The only games that actually appear on both lists, interestingly enough, are Torchlight – third on Direct2Drive and seventh on Steam – and Civilization 4: The Complete Edition, which sits happily on both lists in fifth. The full charts, courtesy of Shacknews, follow:Steam Top TenLeft 4 Dead 2Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2Crysis: Maximum Edition (Crysis & Crysis Warhead bundle)BorderlandsSid Meier’s Civilization IV: The Complete EditionMass EffectTorchlightThe Orange BoxLeft 4 DeadKilling FloorDirect2Drive Top TenStar Trek Online – Digital Deluxe Edition (pre-order)
