After a slight delay, Payday: The Heist is now available on the US PlayStation Network, with a European release to follow.
Under normal circumstances that EU release should be tomorrow, but the press release notes that an exact date is “yet to be announced”. The same is true of the PC version for all territories.
So, if you’re in the US, have $20 to spare, and fancy an FPS co-op shooter in which you engage in bank-jobs and heists across six missions, your luck is in. The game also promises a “massive” character progression tree, which sounds suspiciously like an invitation to start grinding levels to me.
A trailer for one of the heists, ‘Heat Street’, follows with some screenshots from the same level.
