Payday 2 Shadow Raid - 05

I’m told that crime doesn’t pay, which is fitting because you won’t be paying for the new Payday 2 heist on Thursday.

The heist – called Shadow Raid – is a stealth-only affair which challenges the crew to sneak into a Murkywater PMC warehouse and get out with the loot. If you get spotted and can’t contain the situation, you’ve got 60 seconds to get out with whatever you’ve managed to grab… but the further in you go, the better the rewards, and the better the security. This culminates in a rather special item that requires you to get a hold of two keycards just to reach it, and I can’t imagine that’s going to be particularly easy.

Shadow Raid will be completely free, and will be made available to all Payday 2 players on Thursday. If you’re not a Payday 2 player, then bear in mind that the game will be getting a free Steam weekend from 29 May to 2 June, so you can try it out as much as you like. If you enjoy it, it’ll also be 67% off for that duration.

Screens for the new Shadow Raid heist can be found below, and you can find more details on it over on the official website.
