Pay what you want for Frozen Synapse

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

There’s a new Humble Indie Bundle on the loose, this time offering 2011’s finest top-down tactical shooter Frozen Synapse at a price of your own choosing.
You may well know the drill with these by now. The idea is you pay however much (or little) you want for the game (or games) on offer in the Bundle. You also get to split the price however you like between developer, charity (Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation) and the Humble Bundle tip jar.
As a little extra twist this time around, if you pay more than the average amount for Frozen Synapse (about $3.95 at the time of writing), you’ll receive three bonus games in the shape of Trine, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, Shadowgrounds, a pre-order of the not yet released Splot, plus a prototype build of Jack Claw.
Oh yes, the Frozen Synapse soundtrack comes as part of the deal too.
Now, if you ever played titles like Laser Squad back in the day, Frozen Synapse is brilliant re-interpretation of those games. Tim and I played a few rounds for a Communal Evening With earlier in the year, and we both have very high regard for the title.
It’s quite literally possible to sit on the Humble Bundle page and watch the money tick upwards like some digital petrol pump, but as of right now it’s about to hit $40,000 USD.
To be honest, this probably won’t slow down any time soon.
