Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — How to unlock the Lich Mythic Path

The power over the living and the dead.

The Lich Mythic Path in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous should evoke a sense of fear. Your character and most of your companions are living beings. However, you could acquire the power to command the dead, something that would make most necromancers jealous. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you unlock the Lich Mythic Path.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – How to unlock the Lich Mythic Path

The Lich Mythic Path requires a couple of steps. First, you’ll need to reach the Leper’s Smile location during Act II of the campaign. You’ll find several undead inside the cave, and they’ll keep getting revived until you interact with the glowing object.

This object is actually called the Wand of Zacharius. You can either pick the Evil option or hide it in a bag. Do not pick the Good option to destroy it or you’ll be locked out of the requirements completely.

Next, make your way to the Lost Chapel. Head up the slope until you enter the main building. Then, go to the library to find an undead fella named Zacharius. Well, that wand is his, so you’re free to hand it over to him. This will unlock the Lich Mythic Path in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The option to select it will be available towards the end of Act II once you’ve almost cleared the citadel of Drezen.

The Lich Mythic Path is quite unique since it allows you to master death itself. Because of your newfound powers, it’s possible to reanimate the dead. This means you’ll get additional options when it comes to recruiting companions like Staunton Vhane and Delamere.

Note: The Lich Mythic Path is a viable option since you’ll be able to recruit almost all the companions in the campaign. The downside is that, once you’re locked in later (usually when you confirm the Lich Mythic Path choice at Mythic Rank 8), it will cause Seelah to leave.
