The prologue and first act in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous have your party battling foes normally. Then, in the second act, you’ll become the commander of the Fifth Crusade. From this point onwards, you’ll need to move your crusader armies, recruit new units, construct buildings, and fight back the demonic hordes. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous crusade management and crusader army guide.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Crusade guide — How to use your crusader armies, generals, and units effectively
After clearing the Gray Garrison in Act I, your character will be granted their first taste of the Mythic Path system. But, that’s not all, Queen Galfrey will promote you as the commander of her crusader armies at the start of Act II.
Let’s go ahead and tackle these mechanics in the next sections of our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous crusade management guide:
- Act II: Crusader armies – Generals, units, morale, resources, tactical battles, and traveling on the world map
- Act III: Crusade and kingdom management – Your base of operations in Drezen, buildings, and forts
- Act III: Further developments – Events, decrees, and your war council advisors
Note: I should warn your right now that if you recruit Queen Galfrey into your crusader army (the dialogue option becomes available at the start of Act II), you won’t be able to unlock the Swarm-That-Walks Mythic Path later.
