Conundrum Unsolved is a location that you can visit during Act 2 of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. It also happens to have a puzzle that will lead to a new quest. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you complete the Conundrum Unsolved puzzle which will, eventually, lead to a meeting with the Ancient Ghost and a trek to the Heart of Mystery.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – How to complete the Conundrum Unsolved puzzle
Conundrum Unsolved is further northeast of your starting point on the world map in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. There’s nothing remarkable in the wilderness area, but you will see a cave. Enter it and pick up some loot, then check out the puzzle chamber.
Some of the floor panels here are empty. Go ahead and check the nearby vases to pick up “slab” quest items. Three of these have one white symbol. You can click on the hand icon to place them in the correct slots.
Now, you’ll have to figure out what to do with the four slabs with two white symbols. Basically, each panel has two hand icons and the one you click will determine how the slab will be placed. It’s a bit hard to describe the runic symbols because they look odd, but you can refer to the image below. The idea is to place a slab that matches another set that’s adjacent to it.
If you do it correctly, you’ll be able to place the remaining slabs in the other slots. Solving the Conundrum Unsolved puzzle will open a secret door in the cave. You’ll find two sarcophagi inside. Go loot the Elven Notes for the Storyteller and the Hide Barding for your mounts and animal companions.
Likewise, this causes the Ancient Ghost to appear. It won’t say much, except that you need to go to the Heart of Mystery as part of a quest called Secrets of Creation. That area is further west of where we are now, and it’s unlikely that you’ll be visiting it anytime soon, so just focus on some short-term goals (i.e., defeating demons with your crusader army, going to Leper’s Smile, clearing the Lost Chapel, and assaulting Drezen).
Note: If you’ve managed to reach Act III in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, you’ll be able to visit the Heart of Mystery. Be forewarned that it’s going to be a long and arduous trek, and there are more puzzles that await you. You can take a look at our separate guide regarding the Secrets of Creation and the Heart of Mystery.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available via Steam.
