Paradox teases three new projects

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Paradox Interactive has revealed three now-not-so-secret projects that will be properly announced at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) next month. Alongside these titles, the company will also be showing more of War of the Roses and A Game of Dwarves.
So, what do we know about these elusive three? Only what Paradox has told us, really.
Project ‘Silverado’ is billed as a game that combines “elements from popular RTS’s, infuses them with a dash of modern shooters, a side order of a tabletop wargame and a sprinkle of sci-fi”, which sounds a bit like Paradox’s take on a modern Syndicate, Cartel … except they’ve already announced that. Zeal are developing this one.
Project ‘JFK’ is probably not about assassinating 1960s Presidents, but is being developed by Arrowhead Studios (makers of the rather excellent Magicka). This one is described as “breakneck-paced multiplayer combat with a focus on killing your friends and looking cool doing it”.
Finally, Project ‘Revenge!’ from Critical Studio is summarised in this way: “All you need is two friends and one mortal enemy in this action packed action game in a world that can be described as death trap for heroes and children”. Intriguing.
More details to come about all of these at GDC, I’m sure.
