The game has now been given an Early Access release date of 9 March.

“Several years ago, we formed NVYVE Studios with the goal of creating a game that took the survival genre, and built upon it with a hand-crafted sci-fi setting to create a wholly unique experience. The Steam Early Access launch is a culmination of those years, and will form a base for P.A.M.E.L.A, challenging players to explore and survive within the fallen utopian city of Eden”, said Adam Simonar, Studio Director of NVYVE Studios. “We are looking forward to working with the community as we continue to evolve P.A.M.E.L.A, adding new features and content in the run-up to a full commercial launch”.

In P.A.M.E.L.A, players wake up from a cryosleep in Eden, a fallen utopian city. Being a sci-fi game, there is of course an A.I called Pamela, a lone A.I that will help you surive in the city and also augment your character with special abilities. Loot hunting and character augment upgrades will play a part in the exploration as you attempt to find out what’s happened. Meanwhile, Eden’s security team will make life difficult as you attempt to master the power systems to keep elevators and vendor kiosks functioning.

A new trailer is availabe below and later today we’ll have an interview with the team so watch out for that.
