Overwatch sound files hint at holiday event

The Overwatch super sleuths have been digging into the game’s sound files and discovered some great audio.

Numerous sound files have been discovered which hint at an upcoming holiday (Christmas) theme coming to the game which could also be some kind of event. That’s not all though, there are also sound files that reference an arena with “Arena“, “Gladiator” and “Challenger” intro dialogue.

The thread on Reddit is still on-going as they attempt to find more. Hopefully we’ll hear more about a festive event of some kind in the weeks ahead.

Blizzard could be simply switching out the game’s theme with the new one to make the game feel more festive but they do like their holiday events for their more popular games.
