Overwatch Sombra ARG is now counting down to something

For a while, Blizzard has been teasing some kind of Overwatch reveal with their Sombra ARG and it appears to be coming to an end.

The latest developments involve a glitch on the Battle.Net forums on this thread which eventually reveals a mysterious code. This has all been pulled apart by fans in this thread on Reddit with lots of image decoding and it’s caused quite a stir.

Images of skulls and decrypting clues lead to this image of a medical record for Janina Kowalska which is thought to be the name of the recently released hero Ana. The image shows showing some kind of injury to the skull and eye socket and when decrypted also reveals a message in Spanish, which is a recurring theme, which when translated reads, “They seem to be very interested in these ‘heroes’. Maybe interested to know some details that I found out about them”.

There is a lot more to this and the Reddit thread covers the developments in the past 24 hours, but the bottom line is, something will likely be revealed at about 7 or 8 PM GMT time if this countdown is anything to go by. How mysterious.
