Overwatch open beta now live – Here’s how to fix region and install issues

It’s passed the midnight hour and the Overwatch open beta is now live.

When the early access for this beta went live a couple of days ago there was a problem with the install button not appearing in the Battle.Net client. This was an issue even if you had applied a key. The problem still persists in the open beta but you can fix it by completely shutting down the Battle.Net client and relaunching it.

Another issue has appeared with regards to the “Region Select”. Blizzard has now resolved this and to fix it you will also have to shut down and restart the client.

While Blizzard deals with these issues and any more that might pop up, Tim is just finishing off his hands-on preview which should be live soon. Watch out for that.
