Leave the beads at home.

Even though Blizzard has yet to say anything official on it yet, Mardi Gras appears to be coming to Overwatch. A Twitter user by the name of Metro has come across an interesting image advertising the “Overwatch: Ashe’s Mardi Gras Challenge.” It’s reportedly set to kick off tomorrow, February 25, and run through March 9. It appears to be a limited time event where fans can get their hands on new skins, including a provocative one for Ashe. The tweet is below.

No beads necessary, just weapons

Though this doesn’t appear to be a big event like the ones Overwatch has thrown in the past, its seasonal tone should be a big hit with fans. As far as how many skins will be on hand, it isn’t known yet. But there could be a few fun outfits available for certain characters.

To further confirm the arrival of the Mardi Gras event, a Twitter user by the name of Naeri revealed even more images. These appear to be special four and six-hour bundles for the game, though their contents aren’t available yet. Check out that post below.

With the Mardi Gras event allegedly just a day away, Blizzard should provide an official confirmation some time soon. It could easily start up teases this evening before kicking off the event into full gear within a matter of hours. Or it may just opt to reveal everything in one shot before going, “You can play this now!” We’ll see what it has in store.

For those of you that don’t have Overwatch just yet, it’s available now in the Battle.net shop.

In related news, Blizzard recently revealed in a roundabout way that they have a Diablo anime for Netflix and a separate Overwatch animated series in the works. We still await additional details on those unique upcoming projects as well.
