Overwatch free weekend gets underway until 25 September

What is this Overwatch thing? Well, if you’ve been hiding away in a cave and have no idea what Overwatch is then this weekend is the time to get involved with Blizzard’s shooter.

The Overwatch free weekend is now live and will run until 25 September. The full roster of 35 heroes are available to play across the game’s 16 maps. Game modes include Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. Simply put, it’s a chance to play the full game for free for the next few days and enjoy being bombarded with loot boxes.

Anyone who decides to keep playing and pick the hame up will have their progress transferred to the account you played on with Battle.Net. Grab the Battle.Net desktop app and get the game installed to start playing.
