Overwatch 2 Season 3 will feature a One Punch Man crossover, dating sim, and more

One puuuuunchhhh!

Season 3 of Overwatch 2 is about to begin, and after learning some lessons over the previous seasons, is starting the festivities with a bang. There are a ton of events and new content coming up in Season 3 of Overwatch 2, but among the most noteworthy is a blockbuster collaboration with the massively popular anime, One Punch Man. A first for Overwatch 2, this collab with a huge IP will dress up some of your favorite characters with skins from the hit show/manga.

The Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man collaboration will take place on March 7, well after the start of the season. This event will feature unlockable skins from One Punch Man, most noteworthy being Doomfist as Saitama, which is absolutely perfect. Doomfist looks great in Saitama’s yellow suit and red punching gloves as he terrorizes the battlefield. Other characters will receive a skin as well, including one Legendary skin which will be unlockable for free through challenges.

Love is in the air

Another event where you can earn the Hanzo Cupid skin is the new Loverwatch event, which allows you to play an Overwatch 2 dating simulator. This (emphasis on the non-canon) dating sim allows you to date Mercy or Genji, assisted by Cupid who looks a little like Hanzo. Unlock the secret ending, and you’ll get a POTG highlight. There’s also a new 4v4 Hanzo Limited Time Mode and challenges that can net you two Epic skins.

The Overwatch 2 collaboration with One Punch Man begins on March 7, but you can jump into Season 3 of the game when it starts tomorrow on February 7. The season will come with new balance changes, events, and the new Antarctica Peninsula Control Map — as seen in Mei’s “Rise and Shine” cinematic. Be sure to wrap up all of the loose ends you have in Season 2 of Overwatch 2 before it ends tonight.
