Ouya unveils subscription plan

Ouya has revealed that they have plans for a new payment option for their games, an all-in subscription plan.

The deal is for $ 59.99 for 12 months, you get all the Ouya games priced below $ 30. This includes all the DLC, new content, and updates, except for in-app purchases of consumable items. Developers will get a cut of any game that gamers play under the program.

Of course, the plan is very similar in conception to Playstation Plus, if far more generous. It seems like a good idea on paper, but is this enough to revive the Ouya? That remains to be seen.
