Class perks and class point allocations
The Trickster class in Outriders has three archetypes/skill tree branches: the Assassin, Harbinger, and Reaver.
The Assassin branch focuses on firepower and close-range combat. You’ll get direct damage boosts to weapons like shotguns. Meanwhile, the Harbinger branch is for those who want more survivability, shielding, and health regeneration. Lastly, the Reaver is all about buffs to your anomaly abilities and extra utility.
During my Outriders playthrough, I preferred the Trickster’s Assassin skill tree branch. This was mostly due to my playstyle. I liked to get up close and personal, eliminating mobs with shotguns and assault rifles, all while zipping around to murder more foes.
For the first 10 class points (early-game to mid-game), I would suggest the following: “Arms Trick” -> “Ace of Trumps” -> “Death Probability” -> “Shotgun Master” -> “Deadly Shadow” -> “Arms Trick” -> “Disruptive Firepower” -> “Outrider Executioner” -> “Singularity” -> “Unforseen End.” From there, you should consider perks like “Bounty Hunter” (+15% weapon damage vs. elites), “Oddity Summation” (+50% magazine size), and “Cold Calculation” (+8% weapon damage for each enemy at close range).
You can refer to the image below for my preferred Trickster perks from an early to mid-game state (first 10 points), and the extra ones while progressing (the remaining points):
