Origin has 9.3m users, generates $100m

It’s not only Star Wars: The Old Republic that’s doing EA proud in the PC space. The publisher today revealed that its digital distribution service, Origin, has generated $100 million in calendar year 2011. 
That revenue figure has been accumulated by 9.3 million registered users. By way of comparison, Steam has just over 40 million users.
What about you? Are you using Origin? What do you think about having to buy into two distribution platforms to play the PC games you want to play?
