EA Origin Holiday Sale

Origin Access aims to entice with 7 day free trial

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Origin Access, EA’s PC-based game subscription service, is now offering seven day free trial periods for a “limited time”. The promotional page suggests people can ‘cancel anytime’, although doesn’t exactly go out of its way to say how that cancellation process would work.

If you do join up, and like how the system works, then recurring subscriptions to Origin Access are $5.00 USD per month, or $30.00 USD for the year. The system gives you free access (for as long as your subscription holds) to a vault of released EA titles like Star Wars: Battlefront, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, FIFA 16 and so on.

Members also get early ’10 hour’ pre-release trial periods for certain upcoming games, and 10% off on other Origin purchases. Except Titanfall 2, for some probably obscure licensing reason.
