Omerta: City of Gangsters to bring mob management

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Kalypso and Haemimont Games have revealed Omerta: City of Gangsters, a mob management sim complete with turn-based tactical fights and the glamorous locale of 1920s Atlantic City. In it, you’ll have to work your way up from knuckleheaded muscle man to smooth mafia don.
Turn-based fights will rely on cover and stealth to give you the edge in a Tommy Gun-tinged shoot-out, while the simulation side of things will allow you to send people out on missions to extort, sabotage and generally rough-up the town.
Competitive and co-op multiplayer is promised (with persistant gangs who’ll be able to acquire improved gear), alongside an estimated 15 hour single player campaign.
Omerta: City of Gangsters should arrive on the PC towards the end of 2012. Let’s hope it’s as good as Haemimont’s Tropico 3 and Tropico 4.
Some alpha build screenshots from the game can be seen below.
