Oddworld Soulstorm Mudokon Locations Guide Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 The Raid The Ruins The Blimp

Oddworld: Soulstorm Mudokon locations guide — The Raid, The Ruins, and The Blimp

Finding your followers

Abe’s journey in Oddworld: Soulstorm has just begun. You’ll have to help the chosen one save his followers from certain doom. Of course, you’ll want to ensure that you can rescue at least 80% of all Mudokons in a level. Doing so nets you a good Quarma score so you can unlock all the endings and the last two stages in the game. Anyway, here’s our guide to help you rescue all the Mudokons in Oddworld: Soulstorm‘s first three levels: The Raid on Monsaic, The Ruins, and The Blimp.

Level 1: The Raid on Monsaic (300 Mudokons)

To be fair, the first level in Oddworld: Soulstorm (The Raid on Monsaic), doesn’t really require Abe to do a lot to save his Mudokon followers. This stage acts as a tutorial, so everything’s manageable and you’ll eventually reach the end. Once you’re there, you’ll see all 300 of Abe’s pals making their way to the exit.

Level 2: The Ruins

  • Mudokons: 200
  • Required for 80%: 160

The Mudokons appear towards the end of the level. Once you ring the bell, all of them will start climbing the ladders in the background. However, several Sligs will attempt to shoot them down. As Abe, you’ll want to place IED Stun Mines on the ledges while also using your chant ability to possess the hostiles. By possessing a Slig, you can shoot and eliminate the other mobs quickly.

There are two climbing sections here (and the second one has Sligs armed with rocket launchers too). Make sure that your Mudokon pals don’t suffer a lot of casualties to ensure a good Quarma score.

Level 3: The Blimp

  • Mudokons: 1
  • Required for 80%: 1

Since there’s only one Mudokon in this stage, you’ll need to save that fella if you want to attain the 80% (good Quarma) requirement.

The goal here is to be quick, breezing through the level until you’re past the first area with the giant ladders and snipers. In the next section, head to the bottommost ledge to find a doorway. Enter this doorway to reach a secret area.

Use Abe’s chant on the Bird Portal to make the Mudokon escape to safety. After this, just complete the level normally.

Note: As of now, there’s no indicator of any timer, but I guess that reaching the doorway within five minutes of starting the level would suffice. If you can’t reach it in time, Abe won’t be able to go through it.

Anyway, let’s discuss the next level in Oddworld: Soulstorm, the Funicular.
