Oddworld Soulstorm Guides And Features Hub Abe Mudokon

Oddworld: Soulstorm — Guides and features hub

Abe's back!

Oddworld: Soulstorm is the reimagining of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus which came out in 1998. It’s a completely new game, one that’ll present many challenges as you and Abe progress through 17 levels. You’ll also discover a few secrets, unlock multiple endings, and save thousands of Mudokon followers.

The game can be tough at times, especially when you consider various puzzle mechanics and methods to get past certain sections. Let’s not forget that Abe’s quite flimsy as well, and he can easily die within a few hits. As such, you’re bound to restart from your last checkpoint every now and then. Anyway, here’s our Oddworld: Soulstorm guides and features hub to help you out.

Oddworld: Soulstorm – Guides and features hub

Official reviewOddworld: Soulstorm offers a new take on an old classic. Abe’s journey has over a dozen harrowing levels filled with many traps and puzzles, as well as thousands of Mudokons to rescue. But, the question remains: is it worth your while?

Unlocking all endings and the final levels – If you’re able to rescue a lot of Mudokons, you might just unlock the game’s best ending and last two levels.

Mudokon locations: The Raid, The Ruins, and The Blimp – The first three levels in Oddworld: Soulstorm should give you an idea of what you can expect.

Mudokon locations: The Funicular – There are dozens of sick Mudokon in the mines, and it’s up to Abe to brew an antidote for them.

Mudokon locations: Sorrow Valley – Watch your step and beware of the flying Sligs.

Mudokon locations: Phat Station, The Hijack, and Old Trellis – It’s time to continue your escapade, including a romp on a speeding train.

Mudokon locations: Slig Barracks, Necrum, and The Mines – The next three levels can be quite complicated and difficult due to platforming sections.

Mudokon locations: The Sanctum and Escape – One of these levels will give you horror movie vibes.

Mudokon locations: Feeco Depot and The Yards – These are the last two core levels in Oddworld: Soulstorm‘s campaign.

Mudokon locations: Brewery and Eye of the Storm – If you obtained the good ending, then you’ll also unlock the game’s secret levels.

Note: Our Oddworld: Soulstorm campaign guides show the locations of Abe’s Mudokon followers. Although a majority of these outline the locations for a 100% run, there were a select few stages where I missed out on some Mudokons (I’ve mentioned these in their respective sections). Thankfully, you should still be able to reach at least 80% for these levels. That’s the Quarma score requirement as cited in our endings/final levels guide.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is available via the Epic Games Store.
