Obsidian’s Road to Eternity documentary available for $1

The behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Pillars of Eternity, ‘The Road to Eternity‘, has now been made available for purchase by Obsidian. It was previously a ‘backers only’ type reward (though with the understanding that it would get a wider release somewhere down the line).

I’d say it’s definitely worth that handful of change, though the people who’d be most interested in seeing it (people who backed Pillars of Eternity) probably already have.

The Road to Eternity gives you a picture of what the situation was like at Obsidian prior to the launch of the Kickstarter campaign (not great), then takes you through various milestones in the game’s development, and ultimately through to launch day.

There’s also plenty of interesting detail about game development in general, and how that whole process works.
