No Man’s Sky Waking Titan ARG points to August 1.3 update

The latest document from a complex No Man’s Sky ARG indicates that update 1.3 for the game will be coming in August. Initiated back at the start of June, the ‘Waking Titan’ alternate reality game has used intricate audio and logistical puzzles aimed at the No Man’s Sky community.

I’ve certainly not followed the ARG process in any meaningful way, but you can read a summary of events on this reddit thread. The aspect pertinent to those who are still awaiting more No Man’s Sky game updates is the newest document (linked above) which mentions “the completion of Project Waking Titan in August”.

It goes on to say that “Input from the Mercury Subroutine will pave the way towards new experiences in version 1.3”. The last patch released for the game was 1.24 (Path Finder) at the end of March. ARG documents don’t exactly confirm an August 1.3 update outright, but that looks like what all of this has been pointing towards.
