Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is coming to the PC

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Level-5’s Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will receive a simultaneous release on PC and PS4 when it comes out later this year. The first game never made it to the PC, but this sequel looks to be pretty stand-alone in terms of telling a new story with new characters.

Ni no Kuni 2 will tell the tale of Ding Dong Dell, a Kingdom where animals and humanoid animals used to live in harmony. That is, until a coup forced out Cat Person King Evan and the rest of his kitty brethren. You’ll play as Evan (along with buddies Roland and Tani), and attempt to build your own Kingdom in an effort to unite the world.

As with the first game, Studio Ghibli staff are involved again (animator Yoshiyuki Momose), so it’ll look awfully pretty. Some in-game screenshots are below, along with the announcement from Sony’s PlayStation Experience event.
