Third Metro game from 4A looks like it’s coming in 2017

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

The next title in 4A Games’ series looks very much like it’s coming out in 2017, based on a graphic from the site of Metro trilogy author Dmitry Glukhovsky. A timeline image for the announcement of the third book, Metro 2035, includes a reference to 2017 and a new videogame.

Titled “The next Metro video game”, the text for the image states the following: “It all adds up to something. Where the books end their story, the game will pick it up. An era of great discoveries lies ahead.”

A third game in the series would follow 2033 and Last Light. Nothing official has been confirmed by 4A Games just yet, but this looks pretty compelling in terms of an accidental early reveal.
