If any forthcoming game looks set to ride a wave of controversy into the charts, it’s Call of Juarez: The Cartel.
This latest trailer for the Mexico-based, contemporary(ish) shooter features nightclub killings and dialogue that even Steven Seagal might’ve had second thoughts about delivering.
It’s hard to say at this stage whether the title is trying to be as over the top as possible as some kind of terrible action movie pastiche, or whether it really will be this earnestly terrible. Hopefully the former, eh?
We’ll find out this summer, when Call of Juarez: The Cartel is released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
