New Tony Hawk Game Is In Development

Activision has confirmed that it is currently involved with a new Tony Hawk game, saying: “Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk, more info is coming soon.”

Whilst on Demolition Radio show on SiriusXM, Tony Hawk started talking about his popular game franchise and revealed that a new game was in the works when he said: “We’re working on a game, we are working on a game, it’s pretty cool.” a co host then said: “It’s a whole suit you have to put on.” He was probably referring to the motion capture used to accurately portray the tricks you can pull off in the game.

Unfortunately neither Hawk nor his co host said anymore but confirmed repeatedly  “We are working on a game.” Tony Hawk had previously stated that he’d like to see his series move on to the next gen and there are many gamers who have fond memories of playing the first Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater on the PlayStation 1 so a new installment to the franchise would likely go down well.

However the Skate video games have become increasingly popular with their dynamic gameplay. With that in mind, will Tony Hawk be able to compete? Only time will tell.
