New Teaser For The Long Journey Home

New Teaser for The Long Journey Home

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

The music of The Long Journey Home‘s official teaser might remind some of you of the sad and lonely moments of the movie Interstellar, especially because it’s a trailer about a game that is described as a “space exploration RPG”. While the details about the title sound promising on paper (“in a procedurally generated, endless surprising living universe inspired by beloved modern science fiction shows like Farscape and Firefly.”), it’s the trailer that creates this intriguing feeling about the prospects of Daedalic‘s new game.

The story behind The Long Journey Home follows a more typical scenario compared to… Interstellar, as humanity wants to take its first step towards exploring the stars and new planets, but things do not work out as planned (they never are). After the accident, the player takes the role of the commander who must lead its crew on their space trip home.

The Long Journey Home is expected to be released sometime in the second half of 2016 for PC. You can have a look at the trailer below and get an idea about a game that will focus on the danger and the secrets that lie in the long, distant space. Find out more at tljh.daedalic.com.
