EA and Pandemic have released a new trailer and screens for The Saboteur.
In the “Just Getting Started” video, we see the game’s protagonist Sean Devlin showing off the stealth, combat and racing gameplay offered in the title. We also get to see a little more of the stylized visuals and the impressive open world with Devlin (who, by the way, sports quite the Irish accent) demonstrating the vertical movement offered in the game.
Devlin is based on real life racing driver William Grover Williams who was recruited into the Special Operations Executive during WWII and tasked with aiding the French Resistance. The game is not the first to offer a fictional take on a real life WWII spy – earlier this year Southpeak’s Velvet Assassin took on the story of Violette Szabo (renamed Violette Summer in the game) albeit with less-than-impressive results.
The Saboteur is due for release on 8 December on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Check out our preview here.
