New Just Cause 2 Trailer

Eidos has released a new trailer for its open-world action sequel Just Cause 2.In the video, we’re introduced to the game’s new setting, the fictional island of Panau which contains a mix of mountains, deserts, beaches and jungles.We’re also shown a couple of the new weapons in the game, namely the rocket launcher and detachable minigun as well as the new tether feature, which allows Rico to attach vehicles together in order to cause all kinds of mayhem.We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the game at this year’s E3 – check out our preview and developer interview.While the first game featured a gorgeous setting and a wonderful grappling hook/parachute system, we felt it was let down by poor AI and repetitive missions. Here’s hoping the sequel improves on these aspects.Just Cause 2 is due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.
